Hello. My family and l were poisoned with Carbon Monoxide in 1997. We were all about to die in our Appartment. We needed to have Hospital assistance for all 4 of us including my son who was 11 by that time.. We hired an atterney and we sued the appartment complex where we lived. Can you believed that all we got were about 4,000 dollars. After paying the atterny and everything all my family collected was 1,065 dollars. I am thinking of having the case revised. What should l do? Have you heard of a case like this about persons who were about to die and are givien so little money? Any idea will be highly appreciated.

When you hear for example that Britain was in much debt after the Thirty Years War or the Seven Years War or whatever, first of all WHO did it owe money to, and what would happen if it refused to pay it back? Why did it not just make its own money or steal it from whomever (Rothschilds?) with their army? I just do not understand this.

In your opinion why does it appear that American Christianity has become the love child of Capitalism, individualism and greed. I have purused the ghettos of Christian television and have become appalled at the heresy.

Prosperity Preachers like Creflo Dollar, Jamal Bryant, Keneth Hagin, Oral Roberts and Fred Price and etc depict God as a grand slot machine; If you tithe to the church GOD will bless you with a Benz, Bentley, new house, car and more bling bling.

It seems that the thesis of there message is that to have those things are a sign of divine blessings and favor. DOES THIS POP-CULTURAL MESS BOTHER ANYONE BUT ME??????

Does it even bother anyone that these beautiful celebraty preachers who dress like characters on soap operas are not even smart and do not have earned accredidated degrees? Can't congregants make a case to sue them for spiritual malpractice? I think the gospel that they preach is the equavelant of spiritual homocide. (murdering the spiritually weak)

It seems like some of the most usefull parts of adult hood...(i.e., saving for retirement, paying taxes, adopting a personal finance plan, investing in the market...etc) are barely touched upon in a general education's curriculum. Why?

Earlier, I posted a question about a "maximum wage," and people thought I meant a limit on what a person can EARN. No. I mean a limit on what a company can PAY any one individual. If somebody wants to work for two companies, then he/she is welcome to double his/her income.
CEOs are not the only people with inflated incomes. Do I think professional athletes or movie stars have equal value to doctors or teachers? No, although my proposed "salary cap" of $5-$10 million a year is still more than what athletes and actors generally make, which leaves businessmen.

Where I live the minimum wage is the federal minimum, $5.15/hr. Increasing it to $7.25 seems really extreme here and I think it will only cause prices to raise and thus hurt salaried employees who do not get a raise as a result of all this.

Other thoughts?
