Why is it that something that's clearly fake, that requires a suspension of disbelief can cause us to have a stronger emotional reaction than many things that happen in real life? Why are movies & plays & fake events like "professional wrestling" so powerful over our emotions?

I'm seeking some insight into how and why people stay with their partners for a long time. I'm not looking for a Hollywood style, romantic love story from anyone.

I want to know the gritty truth of how difficult it gets, how many times people have been tempted to just give up...

But why you didn't.

I suppose, in a society where you feel like divorce is just another answer to your problems, I'm looking for REAL peoples' reasons to why staying is worth it.

I ask this because I see a lot of people around me who are unhappy but stay with their patners. I'm just trying to get into their heads. Call it... research for a curious, forward thinking mind.

Before any assumptions are made about me: I'm taken.

Sensible suggestions only please, with just a little fun on the side - something you might choose for your own personal development perhaps... I got my degree in time for my 40th but have since mislaid my sense of direction, and now have no money either. How can I best mark the passing of a decade?

The Mayans unlike the Egyptians left no Rosetta stone. And unlike the Aztecs there was no contact between their civilization and the conquering Europians.

Yet they have deciphered most of the Mayan script. How?

About a year or so ago, I found out about furry porn (from YTMND in case you're interested). At first, I thought it was like... joke pornography; so, like most things I find funny, I did a google search for it. And, of course, found whole internet communities of furries and stuff.

So, I was just wondering, what causes people to become furries? I know you may not be able to actually answer the question 100% clearly, but give it your best shot. I'm thinking maybe furries received more loving attention from pets then their own parents, or maybe they just had an interest in animals growing up. I'm just kind of curious because furries/yiffies are seemingly all over the internet, but you just never talk to them.

And since there's a lot of people who hate furries, please keep your comments to yourselves.

My questions;

1. the term "caucasian" comes from the regions of Cocasus. It is a modern days' Russia, Ukraine, etc. Does it mean that the people from Africa traveled to Mid-east, then Cocasus and settled on Western Europe?

2. if then, what does it mean by "Indo-Europe" language? what does India have to do with the Europeans?

3. how did human kinds traveled and spread the civilization? I know the first human appeared on earth is from Africa. Did they travel (spread) to many regions in the world? Where did they arrive first? Did they arrive first in India and then went north west toward to Cacasus?

I want to know, how the human ancestors traveled.

4. so called the "asians", especially the chinese, koreans and japanese have Mongolian heritage. Then the Mongolians are actually the "caucasians" traveled to Asia and settled later?

thank you.

In other words, do these groups of people consider themselves to be Caucasian, Aryan or White? Do they claim heritage with Europeans? What is their relationship with White people?
