Not curses, but maybe poisons.

Hello dear!
Of course, there are inscriptions cursing whoever violates and enters the buildings, which, to my understanding were not grave buildings but serviced other reasons.
The sudden deaths were caused on poisoned air, since it was enclosed for thousands of years. The death happen some time later would be caused by the radium which was enclosed in the "rooms" visited!

The curses that were put on the Egyptian pyramids were inscriptions along the lines of "Watch it, or Osiris is gonna be really PO'ed at you for disturbing me", so as long as you don't feel threatened by ancient gods, then you're fine.
