I've heard that some animals will go away by themselves and hide before they die, because they know they're going to die. Is it the same for humans? Do we push others away and try to be alone more and more if we know we're going to die or commit suicide?

I am about 5'8" and I weigh roughly 120 lbs. I eat healthy, and I am in better shape than most women I know. What is with these so-called "feminists" saying that my body is ugly because my boobs and my butt aren't big enough and so I'm not a "real woman". Oh I'm sorry! I guess I should run out and get breast implants to make the fembos happy! I think it's just pure jealousy myself.

By the way, this is nothing against feminists in general, because I am one myself. I am just sick of always being called ugly.

First a little bit about my self to who ever is going to read this and help me out with my problem.
I'm doing a Degree in Psychology, and so far I've scored high on all the exams I've completed. But my problem is that - I dont want to become a mental health worker. I love to help people. but I like to help them in ways such as getting food and shelter to the homeless or giving disaster relief etc. I love to volunteer and do anything that would make a difference in a persons life. I love to make people safe and secure. Even at home with my family - I like to look after them when they are sick etc.
So anyway my problem is that I have so many distractions, and I tend to stray away from my goals.
The biggest distraction I keep having is that I should become a nurse. But nursing will not allow me to do all what i want to do. Yeah sure, it will allow me to look after the sick, but I dont think thats who I am totally. How do I get this distraction out of my head?

Ladies have you been shocked to find your feet that you are self concious about are highly sexy to others male or female ?

It is sad but funny that a lot of women go through life thinking that there feet are too big or too wide or too long to be attractive .

On the rare occassion a person male or female actualy see's there feet and compliments them . Has this happended to you ? Has more than 1 person said your feet are either cute, pretty , sexy or beautiful and up until that time you thought your feet were ugly ?

Generally speaking, girls don't. And I don't think it's necessarily an exposure thing (And if it is, only to a small degree) because in my experience girls that are equally exposed to video games just don't take interest in it. They just don't. My sister doesn't and she sees me play games all the time. She even has her own games that she plays once in a blue moon. Same throughout my family and all of my friend's families. So why don't girls like video games? (Generally- have to add that generally or this will turn into a politically correct forum of nothingness with no answers)

When you are the one who deviates from the social norms, it is easy to see and feel the pressure of the group compelling you to re-conform to to the norms.
What I want to know is, why do the people of the group pressure each individual to conform?
I and everyone has been on both sides of the fence of this matter. When I am the one who does something out of the ordinary or deviant, I can feel the pressure to conform.
When I observe someone else doing something that stands out, I see other people subtly pressuring the deviant person to conform and I become part of the pressuring group. I don't even know what my own motive is.
Why is a group bothered by someone who rebels against norms? What drives the group to get the deviant to conform?

I am guessing that it has something to do with the fact that rebellion is punished, so when other people see someone getting away with deviant behavior, they get jealous b/c they want to be able to get away with the same thing. I don't know though.

Maybe this feeling will pass away tomorrow; but, tonight I am so down. I have people in my life who are very edgy; and as much as I try to bring PEACE, emotions flair! Sometimes I just want to run away from it all; sometimes I just want to give up! But, I have to remember that though "I have had it REAL GOOD at one point in my life", I also "had it REAL BAD" at one point too. I am not where I WANT to be; but, neither am I where I USED TO BE either.
Staying positive and encouraging is a struggle at times. I only want peace. How can I obtain this, AND KEEP IT, without being DIScouraged by others emotional roller-coaster?

I just need information to why increased government spending will increase interest rates and how this would affect the Australian economy. I know that the Federal Budget was mildly expansionary this year but how would this increase in spending lead to an increase in interest rates before the 2007 Federal election (i know an interest rate rise has already occurred but why did it occur)

Thank you

I hate to call anyone stupid but this person received three 4-year scholarships to out-of-state universities but he turned them down. Now he is taking classes online. Keep in mind he is 18 years old.

If he was my son, I would force him to accept one of the scholarships and send him packing. I'm sure he would thank me in the long run. How is he going to learn social skills and enjoy the campus life-style if he stays home and take ALL of his classes online??
