Maybe this feeling will pass away tomorrow; but, tonight I am so down. I have people in my life who are very edgy; and as much as I try to bring PEACE, emotions flair! Sometimes I just want to run away from it all; sometimes I just want to give up! But, I have to remember that though "I have had it REAL GOOD at one point in my life", I also "had it REAL BAD" at one point too. I am not where I WANT to be; but, neither am I where I USED TO BE either.
Staying positive and encouraging is a struggle at times. I only want peace. How can I obtain this, AND KEEP IT, without being DIScouraged by others emotional roller-coaster?

any encouraging remarks will be greatly appreciated. I want to enjoy Life to its' fullness; and I know this means ACCEPTING "things" I do not like either. But, I want to obtain a BALANCE with Peace!

You have been through a lot and what happened to your girls was something no mother should ever have to go through. Just remember that God is with you and talk to him when you are feeling like this - he will help guide you to the right path. Everyone feels like this - it is a scary feeling but you just have to trust God and surround yourself with people who love you and have positive outlooks in life.

Just remember you are NOT alone and there are always people to talk to!

*hugs*

I'm so sorry for you. My life is the same way. Some days I'm happy other days I hate life. My husband commited suicide almost 3 yrs ago. I tried my best to help him and tell him he would be okay after 1 more surgery. His brothers both died of cancer and suffered. He was afraid this would happen to him, and he did not want to go through it. At times I think I want to run away from everyone and everything, but you can't run away from your mind and the memories, so there's no point. I've even thought of hypnosis to erase some memories, but you really need to remember the bad with the good. You don't really want to lose a part of your life. Don't worry or be discouraged by what anyone else thinks or says, just try to find peace in your belief in God. He will help you get through it all. At this point in my life I haven't found it yet, but someday I will! Love you and wish you the best.

It sounds like what you mostly need is some time to yourself, away from these people who are causing so much termoil. It might help for them to get away from each other for a bit as well.

Try taking a weekend for yourself - if these people live with you, go away somewhere. Go to a hotel, leave the cell phone at home so they can't contact you. Find one with room service, and a nice pool. Sit by the pool, swim, sleep late, watch TV, eat in bed - all the good stuff. This should help you relax, find a little peace, recenter yourself and make you more able to deal with the issues at home when all is said and done.

Serenity prayer
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

I think, in a way, your just like me. You try to make everyone happy, and it either backfires on you or you end up miserable, yea? Unfortunetly, you can't make everyone happy all the time. People are going to be mad, sad, embarrassed, depressed, you name it! I'm not saying you shouldn't help people become happy, you just can't ALWAYS sacrifice your happiness for someone elses. Being positive all the time is impossible; its our emotions that make us unique. The difference, though(at the risk of sounding like a cheesy song), is to be happy when you're happy, upset when you're upset, and angry when you're angry, but you just can't STAY one emotion forever. Scream into a pillow, cry into a friends arms or alone in your room, and listen to HAPPY music to make yourself feel better, just don't let it control your life.

I hope this helps...-.-'

the only way to be peaceful is for you to simply accept that making everyone happy is not possible and that you are the only person you can please, because in the end you live alone and you die alone, at times you will feel down, but who doesnt? just remember you have to choose your battles and the things you choose to be upset about, and if only takes you a day to get over it, then it wasnt worth the stress in the first place.

THINK OF IT THIS WAY, SOMETHING POSITIVE COMES OUT OF SOMETHING NEGATIVE. I HAVE HAD A LOT OF PROBLEMS IN MY LIFE FROM DRUG PARENTS TO PARENTS TRYING TO KILL ME. SOMETHING POSITIVE HAS COME OUT OF EVERY ONE OF MY PROBLEMS.JUST KEEP IN MIND THINGS HAPPEN FOR A REASON, AND SOMETIMES YOU NEED TO MAKE SOMETHING POSITIVE HAPPEN.
