I would choose:

Margaret Cho, Korean-American comedian
(for laughs and current political input)

Anjolina Jolie (because her interview on "In the Actor's Studio" made me understand that there were other people "like me" out there, with firey natures, who are often misunderstood, and who are so driven that if they aren't given productive opportunities will harm themselves, but who can make a real difference)

Jesus Christ (I'd like to clear up some misunderstandings and get his perspective on Gnostic gospels and divinity)

Alice Paul (women's suffragist, who would have a lot to say on gender and feminism, I'm sure)

Cleopatra (I'd love to learn about the politics of Egypt/Rome, her negotiating skills, her lovers, etc.)

Jim Henson (a great promoter of peace and multi-culturalism, as well as an artist and educator, I admire his work and legacy)

The Buddha (I'd like to learn more from the source!)
____
We'd talk current and ancient politics, religion, social change

i had a dream a couple of days ago that my exboyfriend's parents (both died in a car crash), were with us in an apartment that we have rented so we can meet.
My mother and i were there and we were all watching tv. then the parents and my ex went to sleep on the couches.. there was an open bath in the middle of the bedroom and me and my mom took showers..then i wrapped myself with a towel and i was walking out of the room, his father (who's deceased) stopped me and told me that there is no need for these visits anymore, and that we (his son and i) should get married..i told him that i need to finish college first..then he told me with a serious tone, you should know what you want first! you wanna marry my son, or pursue your education.......i was thinking to myself that all this will be sorted out when my ex wakes up and we discuss it....but never really told his father that....what does that mean?
by the way..the father's legs were both amputated..though he wasn't when he was alive.

I am sure that EVERYONE always thinks that he/she is ALWAYS right. I cannot imagine that anyone holds an opinion or belief that they, themselves, knows is wrong.
That is why there is so much conflict. IF it were not so, we would have agreement not disagreement.
The ability to keep in one's mind that "I am open to being 100% wrong on this" is the best way, in my humble opinion, to better one's self and one's life/community.
Do you agree?

I find every interest answers to my questions. What is missing is associating the answerer with what country. Do you think it would be more informative to know someone's view/opinion with the country or do you think it should be a secret? Let me know what you think and indicate your country(if you want)... Thanks

My questions were posted in Science-Other - they seemed benign to me, but apparently someone doesn't think so!

Ever wondered if something controls our thoughts; our actions, and is playing with our lives, even the lives of others? If we are used like puppets?
