I am sure that EVERYONE always thinks that he/she is ALWAYS right. I cannot imagine that anyone holds an opinion or belief that they, themselves, knows is wrong.
That is why there is so much conflict. IF it were not so, we would have agreement not disagreement.
The ability to keep in one's mind that "I am open to being 100% wrong on this" is the best way, in my humble opinion, to better one's self and one's life/community.
Do you agree?

This is an excellent question and guess what? You are right!

I agree it would be best if I could keep my mind open to "being 100% wrong on this". However, there are some things that are just too essential to my being and my people to change my mind about such as my religion (Judaism) and my country (Israel). If the conflicts are not so important (day-to-day / trivial) matters, I think I can let it slide (with some effort).

Thanks again for your thought provoking question and all the best to you and your community.

I think you have to be careful between either extreme. And that can take a lot of work.
I believe that if you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything. So there are some things one has to hang on to, like morals, personal tastes/self identity, hard facts, etc.
But I agree with you in that there's much more agreement than disagreement when people are open to new knowledge and experiences through sharing & listening of each other's life lessons. There's nothing more unproductive than close-minded insults and stubborness for the sake of feeling superior.
The last time someone said that to me was when I was a teenager. Haha. And I certainly was conceited back then.

i think it would be awesome if everyone was a bit more open minded. however, some people are too proud and would prefer to be right. but at the same time not EVERYONE thinks they are right all the time. and always is an absolute. no one is always doing something.

however the situation/person has to be taken into account.
