Hi, i'm trying to rearrange the equation
g = GM/r^2 for r,
however i don't have the mass M, i do have a quantity for density, and with
mass = density (p) x volume (4/3 pi r^3),
so i've managed to get the equation
g = G (p x 4/3 pi r^3)/r^2, and i'm slightly confused as to where to go from here. Would the equation end up as
g = G x p x 4/3 x pi x r, and if so, to find r would the equation end up as r = G x p x 4/3 x pi /g ?

According to Newton, gravity is an instantaneous force acting on an object. As such if the sun was to vaporise completely, Earth should move out of her orbit immediately. However Einstein has work out that nothing can surpass the speed of light. Since light takes approximately 8 mins to travel from the sun to the earth, how can it be possible that Earth can move out of her orbit immediately the sun vaporise? Is Newton concept of gravity questionable?

The core of the Earth is very hot, sufficient to convert seawater into superheated steam. Does it blow out at both ends, preventing seawater from flowing into the hole, or does it blow out only one way, creating a nonstop geyser on the dry land side, thereby providing a source of geothermal energy? Is this analyzable as a physics problem?

I need 6 credits to keep my teaching certification valid and also need 6 credits to add physics to my chemistry certification. I am looking for a class or two not in the standard 3 course sequence because I already took those as an undergraduate. I've seen them on 'how objects work' or maybe modern physics (quantum/ cosmology?). Plus I need the courses to be on-line. The ones I come up with on google seem to be from a few years ago. Preferrably not too expensive. Am I asking too much?

This question is about absorbing of heat or you can say albedo.

I have this two shirts.
One is BLACK and the other one is WHITE.
i put same amount of light on both shirts to heat them up.
it seems that black shirt is hot.
I can find the temperature using the thermometer..
but guys can you find a sophisticated way to find temeperature without using the thermometer.

Free energy as in the ether or vacuum energy. Nicola Tesla's free energy. Magnets have energy, lightning, static shock. These are forms of energy that exist in abundance. Obviously the device to collect this energy may indeed cost something, but then provide more energy than we could ever need. The impact this technology would be for the greater good of all on this planet. When we have this energy source there would be no more fossil fuels to buy. How much money do you think you would save every month when this is possible? No light bills, no gas for your car, you could grow your own food faster than you could eat it, everything would cost less if no one had to pay electricity for their company's or their company vehicles. So on and so on. These are just a few examples. If you don't believe......why not?

at QED Feynman's book he claims that anti-particles can be seen as matter traveling backward in time.
Can anyone help me picture this? Can it be a simple movement and the time-dimension be "felt" as normal?
