By learning how to use logarithm & antilogarithm, you can speed up your calculations. You can learn log from any reference book. By using it calculations of multiplications and divisions can be converted into those of addition and subtraction.
By coincidence I am also in 12th std & I was also suffering from same problem. But now I can solve any difficult calculation.
