Is most of the stuff in what the bleep do we know, just theory, or is in fact a proven thing that, superpositioning, we never touch anything, and entaglment that were all connected, law of attraction, and all that theory they tell us as its true,

And also how can they say an atom is empty space with a charge if there are subatomic particles inside of them that are real matter and not empty space/./....... i think they better rethink what they say...

i am having trouble believeing it all....

A fluid of unknown density floats a .25m x .1m x .02m block of wood weighing .35kg. The block has .002m of its smallest side above the surface of the water. What is the density of the block? What is the density of the fluid? I found the density of the block to be 700 kg/m^3. Is this correct? And how do you find the density of the fluid?

Example 1: Say you are standing with a chest-high boulder in front of you. Rather than jumping up from rest, it is easier to climb on top by first performing a small hop and jumping out of the "bounce." This is very intuitively understood when practiced.

Example 2: A punch can connect with greater force by actually jerking backwards briefly just before impact rather than following through. I am not a martial artist, but again this seems intuitive when attempted. You can feel the difference. I can also break more solidly in a game of pool by using this technique.

So the question: clearly this phenomenon exists, and I would like to know what the explanation is in terms the physics involved. It seems to me to be a recoil force of some sort, but I'm having trouble understanding why it doesn't work in the opposite direction. How does pulling back on a striking blow make it stronger? How does jumping out of a downward motion result in greater lift than jumping from rest?

Thx

Am I wrong in presuming that time is measured by the spin of the earth? Hours to mins to seconds and all according to one revolution? Because if that is the case, then time is going to vary from planet to planet isn't it? So is the atomic clock based on the spin of an electron of a certain ?? (Forgot the word... have drawn a blank.... The opposite of a compound) A quartz perhaps?
If time is based on this then its obviously fundamental measure and not something created by man according to the diameter of this rock we are all sitting on.

i was watching this show called 'on the beach' which speculates the consequences of a nuclear war between the US and China. In it, basically the entire human race is doomed because of the impending nuclear radiation covering the entire earth. What's the probability of that scenario happening if let's say nuclear bombs were dropped in two locations on the globe? will the radiation really spread to the rest of the world?

If i put in 1 individual cookie in the microwave it takes like 15 seconds to get heated and melted, but if i put two, then it isnt as warm and melted at 15 seconds. Why does it matter if there is an extra cookie on the plate? its not adding to the first cookie or anything.

Just wondering.

Okay, so mirrors are perfectly smooth, so by creating a perfectly smooth surface, are we actually making a small gateway to another universe where everything is the same except a few small details that are unoticable? Like maybe the shirt I'm wearing in this universe looks the same through a mirror, but in reality is made of a completely different material. You can't go through because your 'reflection' always does the same and opposes you with an equal amount of force, right? Then how come you can see 'reflections' in shadows, and if you shine a light at a mirror, the angle of incidence might not equal the angle of reflection, but instead, both lights keep going through the portal, because light does not have mass or volume. I just thought of this, and I know I'm probably crazy, but does anyone out there think it's possible that mirrors are actually gateways? Also, if you hold one mirror while looking at another, you could be seeing more than one at once, just an answer to that.

If the sun were to explode right now and for some reason lose all of it's mass and gravitational pull, when would we at earth be set loose like an anceint slingshot (like a david and goliath slingshot)? Would the effect take time to be felt, like how it takes time for the light to reach us or would it be instant?
