There's a theory that says if you have an invisible dog sitting on a counter, then it must be true because you can't see it. And that is supposed to be proof that the invisible dog exists.
It's an invisible dog.... You can't see it. Ergo, it must be there.

The phsycic on the Montel show Miss Brown, believes in Reincarnation. This is my question. How can someone that past on, be with you, when she states that your soul goes into another body thats being born and you get reincarnated. Geez and she tells most people that their brother , mother, etc is with them watching over them after they have passed away. How can a soul be with you and go into another body to be reincarnated? Call her and ask her. Or even ask Montel. Wounder what answer she can answer to this. I think she put her foot in her mouth.

While painting the top of an antenna with a height of 218 m, a worker accidentally lets a 1.00 kg bottle of water fall from his lunchbox. The bottle lands in some bushes at ground level and does not break.

If a quantity of heat equal to the magnitude of the change in mechanical energy of the water goes into the water, what is its increase in temperature in degrees C?
Use 9.81 m/s^2 for the acceleration due to gravity and 4190 J/(kg*K) for the heat capacity at constant pressure for water.

An insulated beaker with negligible mass contains a mass of 0.280 kg of water at a temperature of 76.2 degrees C.

How much ice at a temperature of - 23.6 degrees C must be dropped in the water so that the final temperature of the system will be 36.9 degrees C?
Take the specific heat for water to be 4190 J/(kg*K), the specific heat for ice to be 2100 J/(kg*K), and the heat of fusion for water to be 334 kJ/kg.

Two runners start simultaneously from the same point on a circular track of length 198 m and run in the same direction. One runs at a constant speed of 5.30 m/s and the other at a constant speed of 6.45 m/s.

When will the fast one lap the slower one?

How far from the starting point will the slower one have run?

problem 2: it's assumed that the body tested would have the same ratio of the isotopes as found in air (factors include climate etc.)
problem 3: though it is corrected for the variation of the magnetic field at one point, is the change in the field consrtant and C-14 relation to it?
