Integrate (area integral) x*y dA where R is the region bounded by the graphs of y=(x)^1/2, y=(x/2), x=2 and x=4 would the bounds for x be 2 (lower) to 4 (upper) and the bounds for y be (1/2) (lower) (x)^(1/2) (upper) ?

1)A rancher wants to fence in an area of 3,800,000 square feet in a rectangular field and then divide it in half with a fence down the middle parallel to one side. What is the shortest length of fence that the rancher can use?

2)A rancher wants to fence in an area of 580 square feet in a rectangular field using fencing material costing 1.3 dollars per foot, and then divide it in half down the middle with a partition, parallel to one side, constructed from material costing 0.6 dollars per foot.
Assuming that the partition is parallel to the side which gives the width of the field, find the dimensions of the field of the cheapest design.

A company must manufacture a closed rectangular box with a square base. The volume must be 1160 cubic inches. The top and the bottom squares are made of a material that costs 5 dollars per square inch. The vertical sides are made of a different material that costs 2 dollars per sqare inch.
What is the minimal cost of a box of this type?

Find two values (c) lying on (-2,2) that satisfy the conclusion of MVT (i.e. x = 0)

My answer:
f'(x)= -8x^3+7x
f(-2) = -30
f(2) = -18

so, -18 - (-30) = -8x^3+7x(2 - (-2))
-48 = -32x^3+28x

But I only get one zero and I think I messed up in the equation somewhere. Please advise :)

It's a question I have for math homework. I have to solve inequalities, but instead of giving the last number, they give clues, and you have to figure out the answer and then substitute it for the number.

ex. 5n-46> the number of stars on the U.S flag in 1945.

I have a few more, but for right now, I only need this one.
PLEASE HELP!
