This is a closed polygon. The units are just general coordinate units:

"What are the coordinates of the two yellow dots?
What is the distance between the two yellow dots?
What is the area of the polygon?
What are the angles of the two yellow dots, in degrees?

*Show your work; numbers must be accurate to the 4th decimal place."

I made this up in Chemistry two days ago when the teacher was rambling on about saturated and unsaturated solutions. Just to find the distance between the yellow dots, it took me about 2 hours because I forgot a few of my trig rules; did that stuff last year; eesh. Took my math teacher about a half hour to find the distance between the two yellow dots. I felt like spicing it up, and adding a few more questions. IM me if the questions are unclear. Good luck!

A rectangular swimming pool is 50ft long and 25 ft wide. there is a walkway x ft wide surrounding the pool.

First you have to find the lenght and width of the pool with the walkway x ft.

Next you have to find the area of hte pool with the walkway in terms x. Explain!

ok if the total area of the pool and walkway is 2284 ft squared, what is the width of the walkway?

This is easy simple geometry right? Wrong! remember whoever gives the right answer and the best explaination gets my vote as best answer!

I know the area of a sphere is 4.pi.r.squared. I know this because my daughter's 7th grade math text says so. But how did the world of mathematics come up with that particular formula? How can we prove it, using fundamentals and logic. If the proof is too long to post, can you point me to a reference. Thanks in advance.

the circle and triangle look like that, only A and C are connected, and X and Z are connected. PS: dont pay attention to any of the letters or measurements other than A, C, X and Z. The X in the angle is also not there, but label the top of the triangle B.

Given: Secants BA, BCand XA is congruent to ZC.

Prove: triangle ABC is an isosceles traingle.
