Solve for the value of y and the measures of angles 1 and 3. Please show work. One of the lines crosses another line to form four angles labeled clockwise 1,2,3, and 4. The measures of these angles are:
(angle 1)M<1 = (6y +29)
(angle 2)M<2 = (4x+31)
(angle 3)M<3 = (1 2y -7)

A crystal growth furnace is used in research to determine how best to manufacture crystals used in electric components for the space shuttle. For proper growth of the crystal, the temperature must be controlled accurately by adjusting the input power. Suppose the relationship is given by the following equation, where T is the temperature in degrees Celsius and w is the power input in watts.
T(w) = 0.1w^2 + 2.156w + 20

(a) How much power is needed to maintain the temperature at 204°C? (Give your answer correct to 2 decimal places.)

(b) If the temperature is allowed to vary from 204°C by up to ±1°C, what range of wattage is allowed for the input power? (Give your answer correct to 2 decimal places.)
