Let a and b be any two mutually prime positive integers where a < b. Then a/b is a rational number less than 1, while b/a is a rational number greater than 1.

Clearly, there are the same number of a/b numbers as there are b/a numbers, since the integer I put in the numerator is arbitrary. Also, I know that every rational number between 0 and 1 can be expressed as a/b, while every rational number greater than 1 can be expressed as b/a.

Does this mean the number of rational numbers between 0 and 1 is the same as the number of rational numbers between 1 and infinity?

In order to earn an A in a course, a 85% average is needed. There are 4 regular tests, and a final exam which is weighted twice as much as a regular test. If the test scores are 95%, 79%, 89% and 97%, what is the lowest final exam % score that will result in a final grade of A?

I got to the point where 16 2/3% is the weight of the regular test and 33 1/3% would be the weight of the final exam, but im not sure how to set up an equation from there... thanks for the help
