I cant find my users manual. This calculator has been great for algebra but I cant find the greek letters on it that I need for stats. Do I need them?

I found I could go to stats under "math" but I cant figure out how to make the variance and standard deviation work, it always says 'too few arguments' or 'syntax error'

I appreciate your help if you know what I am talking about!

You are applying to 2 different jobs with the same starting pay. One company uses a linear model to increase wages, one company uses a quadratic model.

x=# of years at the job
y= current pay

what are some examples of linear & quadratic models for this?

Why does one cubic centimeter = 1 mililitre??? sure, mililitre sounds cooler than centilitre, but if you could convert from one cubic centimetre to one centilitre, it would save grade 8 kids from having to learn how to convert the units. 1 cubic meter could equal 1 litre, wouldn't life be great??? Didn't anyone ever think about that???

Firstly i`m not able to put the line y=-1 into the form y=mx+b.

Y=mx+b
y=0(x)-1 or Y=m(0)-1 ??????
If i take y=m(0)-1 as correct then the slope is 'm' and the negetive reciprocal is -1/m (slope of the perpendicular)

Using the point (3,4) and the slope of the orthogonal line,
Y=mx+b

4=-1/m (3) +b
b=4+(3/m)
