remember 0 degrees is along the +x axis
90 degrees is along +y axis
180 degrees is along -x axis
so you are moving 12 points in the negative x direction if you start at 10 then 10+(-)12 = -2
no movement in the y direction so 10+ 0 = 10
Point q is at (-2,10)

Since 180 degrees is a half lap, I guess the direction will be (-1, 0), so Q = Z + 12*(-1, 0) = (10, 10) + (-12, 0) = (-2, 10)

(-2,10)
180 degrees means left, if you think of 0 as being right 90 straight up, and 180 as left, basically counter clockwise around a circle. The quadrants of the graph system are thought of as the same way, 1,2,3,4 counter clockwise from 0, quadrant 1 being right and up.

... 180 would be a straight line heading the the negative direction
so, starting at Z move negaive 12 units parallel to the x-axis
you get (-2,10)

it could be 22, 10 or 10, 22. you werent specific to where the distance was 12 units from. i guessed u were talking about the x-axis frist, but i really have no clue now, so i said both answers.

pos-X is zero deg, counter-clockwise is pos deg.

So 180 degrees is in neg-X direction.

That would be (-2, 10)

you cannot rotate 180 from a point..its geometrically impossible.

unless you asked the question incorrectly...or i'm just stupid, it should be (-2,10)
