we will be hit by an asteroid tomorrow. 1 billion people will burn instantly, the rest will slowly starve as the dust clouds block the sun.

So please save yourself from this pain and jump off some high building today.

Right now, our Sun shines because of the fusion of hydrogen into helium. When the hydrogen fuel is all used up, and helium fusion begins, the Sun will change into Red Giant star. The surface will lie somewhere around the orbit of Mars. As it evolves and its surface expands, it will vaporize the planets Mercury, Venus and Earth along the way. This is how the Earth will end, but don't lose any sleep over it. It isn't going to happen for a few billion years.

Some people may convince you that the sun will run out of bla bla bla.....and we will freeze and die if we stay here. Basically thats assuming we all don't kill ourselves first. Look around at Nucklear threat, global warming, pollution, extinction of species and destruction of echosystems, terrorists, and Liberals (lol, had to joke) and tell me that the Bible doesnt have the prediction written down to the letter when it says ' if Christ did not return, our ways would extinct all-' (indeed I say all, not just some) '-of the life on the earth.'
So basically no one knows, but the Bible might be able to tell you how...

Instead of the Big Bang, it's the Big Cruntch. The universes expansion will reach a limit because of gravity and will begin to contract, imploding on itself, and we all die from there.

Fortunatly, it will take a long long long long time for that to happen. Or our star will run out of fuel.

Not until the Sun enters its red giant phase will the Earth be gone for good.
