I got this question wrong on an assignment because I put 2-chloro-2-methyl-2-hexene and the right answer was 2-chloro-2-methylhexene. Just curious as to why you don't include a 2 in between methyl and hexene on the product?

hi, am having problems with writing out electron configuration it's soo frustrating! Would appreciate it if anyone could give me some tips.... as in step-by-step tips! i'm mainly just not understanding the whole letters thing !with the s and the p and then there's the d!

does the PH of a solution of Hcl increase becuase of the addition
of Nacl. Because as far as I know according to lechatleirs principle the added nacl dissociates into cl- ions and as the concentration of cl- ions increases the dissociation of Hcl decreases and the ph raises.

When i do this on the calculator i get 5.093378608 E -4 . How is that the same as 5.09 x 10^14 s-1. I am having a hard time with what the anser is on the calculator and the answer in the book.

Then I get the final answer of 3.37 x 10^-19
