When I was in high school, we studied all about bamboo. I'm really wondering why there's no explanation in the book we used before if why bamboo belong to grass family. I did asked my teacher, in front of the principal but he failed to answer me. Could you be of help for me to be able to find out why?

Do they need more anthocyanins than other leaves or what? After all, they still need chlorophyll right? Because they start green in the early spring, but then turn to their normal red color in a few weeks. Just curious.

My dear cedar trees are all infected with some strange orange jello like substance. I know that it has appeared in the last three days. I have looked at all 7 trees and each had some on it. The fungus is scentless and is like a halfway set bowl of jello. I am worried that it will kill my precious trees. I would like to know if it will spread to other trees or plants and if it will kill anything and if i can get rid of it
