like what I said for Cell Membrane was: just like a ticket checker at the airport, the cell membrane regulates what goes in and out of the cell.

a student put some cells from a tomato plant on a microscope slide, aded a drop of water and observed them under the microscope.after 15 minutes,the cells appeared to be fully expanded.when the student put some blood cell in water on a microscope slide and examined it under high power, no cell could be detected in the sample.what explanation can u suggest for this?

I know lots of people that major in biology-- but why did you choose biology as your major? what makes it so great?

people say they major in biology just because they think it will help them get into med school-- but I want to know why people who genuinely want to major in biology do so.
