If your puppy is homozygous dominant for a trait, it received a dominat allele for that trait form each parent. Each parent is equally responsible for that part of the puppy phenotype. The same is true for homozygous recessive parts of the puppy's phenotype. Each trai is one-eighth or 12.5% of the puppy's phenotype, so each parent contributed 6.25% for each homozygous dominant or reccessive trait.
Only where the puppy is heterozygous for a trai is only one parent responsible for that 12.5% portion of the phenotype.
Calculate the percentage of th epuppy's phenotype that came from each parent.

If you take a piece of paper or anything, and fold it or bend it, it becomes thicker. However, if you unravel a DNA molecule it is 3 feet in length. When it is folded in the nucleus it is 1 millionth of an inch. How can that happen?

2-Why would a female animal prefer to mate w/ a male who is both physically attractive & a good father?

With cloning the nucleus from a cell is placed inside an egg cell and then implanted for development. You then end up with an identical twin of the person you cloned. (Though the twin is several years younger)
What if, instead of placing a nucleus from a mature cell, one places the DNA from a sperm cell nucleus inside an unfertilized egg cell, and removes the original nucleus from this egg cell. Then you have an unfertilized egg cell with DNA from a sperm cell within it. Can you then fertilize this egg cell with a sperm cell and have a baby that is 50% one man and 50% another man?
