I know the creationists constantly say that evolution proceeds by chance. But the evolutionists constantly answer that it doesn't. If evolution proceeds according to just the laws of physics, genetics and ecology, then how is that not by chance? Do you and I have different views of what "by chance" mean? What does "not by chance" mean according to evolution?

I am working on this particular project but I do not really understand the following.

I am supposed to clone an N and a C terminus of GFP protein into a particular host cell. I am given those 2 plasmids and am asked to grow in bacteria first and then amplify it through PCR.

I am just wondering why shouldn't I just amplify it by either PCR or bacteria. I know both have its pros and cons but why do you have to amplify it in 2 different ways? Wouldn't you be losing money on that?

I am looking for the exact name for an antibody that can detect the "middle" portion of the GFP protein.

As we know that the GFP protein contains both the N and C Terminus and there are antibodies that has epitope looking out for the N and C terminus and also the in between section which contain part of the N and part of the C terminus.

Does anyone know the name of that antibody and if possible, quote me the website so that I may go purchase.
