DNA are nucleic acids which are chains of amino acids and polysaccharides. The building blocks of nucleic acids are nucleotides which are composed of a base, a monosaccharide (sugar) and a phosphate. The bases are adenine , guanine, cytosine, thymine. The sugar component is 2-deoxy-D-ribonucleic acid. The third part of the nucleic acid is the phosphoric acid.
