I have listened to people talk about seeing ghosts on TV shows, and full body appartions, etc. like they are as common as cornstalks in a corn field.
Now I assume that ghosts are being formed continuously, since millions of people die weekly, some in horrible agony, etc.
There are millions of camcorders, webcams, digital cameras, and more and more people. The only videos and photos I have seen are obvious fakes, or you have to have a very vivid imagination.
Why isn't there any good video or photos of ghosts? I mean with millions and millions of ghosts walking around and millions of cameras all over the world, why aren't they caught on video?
I mean even the ghosthunter guys who go to the most "haunted" places never get any believable footage of anything that might be a ghost.
Why don't ghost hunting organizations set up webcams where all these apparitions walk around? Or do they?
So where are the ghosts?

1) Are they all bad or like other spirits can they go either way? 2) Were/Are they human?
3) I run local paper routes and on my third route there is a spirit that not only I have seen, but also my husband & daughter. The spirit seems to enjoy running thru the backyards of one side of the street, which I know it has to be a spirit, because no human can run thru solid wood fences, nor jump them as fast as this guy(it has a male shape) can. Than yesterday, I saw him jogging in the main road as I walked along the side as if he was keeping up with me. It's head was shaped in such a way that I know it was watching me, but it was somewhat transparent so I know it wasn't an actual person. I have seen it in the shadows though watching and waiting for me to get to a certain point as if it's timing me. Do I try to communicate with it, or is it trying to let me know something? Its always watching me, but now it gets closer and is that a good thing or bad? I don't get any bad vibes.

I think my house may be haunted, but I'm not quite sure. My best friend comes over really often, almost every weekend, and every time she says she sees or hears weird things. She's told me she's seen the figure of a man multiple times, at first outside on the front porch staring through the window, and then again standing by the stairs. We've also heard taping and knocking noises on the windows and front door. And a few times she's said she's sensed the presense of someone right outside my kitchen or front door, and she's been so scared by it that she's hidden in the bathroom. I know it sounds skeptical, but my friend's not the type to lie about this stuff. She's wicked scared of ghosts and can't stand talking about them. There've also been occurenses of things turning on by themselves. The TV turned on the other day, and my family figured someone was sitting on the remote, but it was sitting right above it. I've had this happen to me several times in my life and thought everyone did. That is until I asked everyone in my family if they had had the same experience -- ever. Only my mother has had the experience and it was shortly after the death of my younger brother. Oddly enough, the last time this happened to me, it happened the same week to my daughter in the same house -- and she was terrified. I'm wide awake when this happens, but terrified to look at the end of the bed because I knew no one could be there. Also, when I was little, I thought it was my parents sitting on the bed watching over me, but they said they never did that -- and the door was closed. Tell me this is a weird sensation our bodies get.

I need to know if you use mediums/psychics in your research? If you do, why? I have been doing this since 1999 and can see no reason for involving this in an actual investigation. What would they bring to the table so to speak that coud ever be evaluated by an objective researcher? I call myself a skeptical believer simply because I have no absolute proof of anything other than my few pics I elected to keep. None of which I label as a ghost or spirit. I call them simply......interesting pics. Out of thousands of pics there are maybe 20 and of those two are orbs, only to show contrast in light sources and anomalies. I have never kept an EVP simply because none were clear and audible. And I have only kept about 5 minutes of video where I caught something I am still trying to figure out. That in almost 8 years of searching. So I am much harder on evidence than your normal "ghost hunter". So if you please will answer my first questions and your experience level, I would like to know.

This section is well hidden I asked this same question in Society and culture/mytholgy & Lore and they told me to ask it here. So, have you? I have and it was a good apparation, It was a jet black apparation and I saw it in the dark. It was just standing in my living room motionless and about 6' tall. Haven't seen it since. That was about 4 years ago. Also I've seen several cats in black wonder apparations.

I just experienced a phenomenon at home. I found myself looking at two bright lights one on top of each other that came hovering down the stairs and stopped in the dining room, increased in brightness(silver color)and dissapeared like a flash, I was not afraid. It just felt peaceful. I was not the only one that saw it. I'm just amazed and will like to know. What it was?

Years ago I was at home.I had the urge to draw something. I drew a picture..colored it etc. The next day a picture just like it was hanging in front of the pulpit. One of the ladies at church had drawn it. (No...it wasn't there before)

well i went to sleep at 3 and at 3:15 i cud smell cigarette smoke..i thought it was my roommate so i opened ma eyes but saw that he too was fast asleep on the bed next to mine..i trie to wake him up but cud not move a single inch from ma bed nor could i speak anything...i felt something hard pressing on me I stayed in this state for abt 15 mins and suddenly everything became normal
