ok folks,i'll add details.Well it was about 9 pm in the evening and i was about to watch a movie.I was making something to snack on and getting ready to snuggle in to the sofa.I went to the restroom and when i came out,,and turned to corner,,there she was kinda sitting on my couch with her leggs proped up as if she was relaxed.I was stunned at frist and my heart went God only knows where.I looked at her and she had a certain look on her face not of anger and not of happy either.I wasant scared at all i was just in disbelief.I stopped to rub my eyes and look again,,and she was gone.I remember it like it was yesterday. To this day i wonder why i saw her after all that time.I wasant thinking of her or anything.Go figure humm-.p.s this happened about 8 years ago.

No this has never happened to me. However, it has happened to many people that have reported such experiences since written records were first kept by mankind.
It also happened to a long time friend of my family on a single occasion. He saw his father on a rocking chair and ran upstairs, he thought about it a few seconds and thought it was ridicules that he reacted with fright and returned but his father was gone. This was the only such experience he had ever had in his life.

As for what this might mean I think it's like trying to tell a person what their dreams or any other personal experience mean. Only you can decide what it means to you in your life just like only you (not believers or skeptics) can decide what you experienced since no one other than you was present.

I have included a link below that you might find interesting.

Ask yourself this......
Were you under a lot of stress, or emotion when it happened?
How have you been sleeping lately? Have you been keeping irregular sleep habits, working third shift, or sleeping in a new location?
Do you have any sleeping disorders?

All of these things can cause very realistic hallucinations.

The other thing to ask is, are you sure of what you saw? Was it a vague vision? Perhaps you are remembering it as more than it actually was. Perhaps it was a shadow and your mind is filling in the details in your memory.

It is fine often spirits of our lost loved ones pop by to say hello and let you know they are watching out for you. It really is a sweet gesture and maybe it was a time you were feeling particularly lonely and she just wanted you to know you are never alone as long as you are loved - love is the one thing that never truly dies. Good Luck!

This type of thing happens to people all the time. Mostly just after someone dies, but sometimes later too. She was most likely just coming over for a visit, or it is possible something new is coming into your life and she is watching over you now. She may have been with you all along.

No...but I really do wonder why this happens . There are some people who really really want it to happen and it doesn't. I wonder if it takes a certain frame of mind or emotions or spirituality. Maybe they're always there and we just can't see them. I wish you'd say how you reacted. Were you scared or happy? Did you scream or cry for happy? Will you "Add Details" and say? Thanks.!
EDIT...THANKS FOR ADDING DETAILS... STRANGE!!!!
EDIT...for pd....Blah..Blah...Blah !!!!

This happened to my brother as he was fooling around after midnight when he was younger. He claims he wanted to watch television late in the living room and saw our dead grandmother sitting on the couch waving "no, no" with her finger. He took off running back to bed.

He claims it's true.

dont take any notice of sleeping disorders, and hallucinations...when this happens..people just have never had the experience with spirits....
our loved ones are always around, and can pop in to visit us from time to time, many times, they,ll only visit the one time, that you can see them....can you remember what you were going through at the time, like something stressfull, a difficult situation, this is when they,ll mostly appear...and also most of the time they just want you to know they are still with you....my nana appeared twice after been gone for over 20 years..she appeared next to me while i was in bed, two nights in a row...it was the most relaxing experience,i felt no fear whats so ever.....it proberly took her that long to come to me cause, i always had this fear of her or any other spirit appearing to me, after what we experienced while she was alive...and when she did appear to me, i had gotten over that fear, and had seen many spirits that came to me, (friends) so i was more accepting....

Ghosts can visit us when the want to. I think she wanted to see how you are doing. No, it has not happened to me the few sightings I have involving a dead loved one is during meditation and I am talking to them and they appear shortly.

Hello Angel

It simply means that you were open to spirit at the time & caught a glimpse of her.

She will be around as she cares for you.

You rubbed your eyes and she was gone? Why do you suppose she was gone after you adjusted your sight?
