It already has been exorcised. The ghost exorcised you.

Without some details, it's hard to advise you. What did the ghost do that scared you so badly? Did you actually "see" the ghost or was it just a feeling you had? When you say it chased you, was it making noise? Shoving you? You could do a websearch for a paranormal group in your area. Reputable groups do not make promises or charge for their services. Sometimes my group will investigate several times before reaching any conclusions. As for an exorcism? That depends on your belief system. If it will make you feel better, then certainly ask a clergyman to come in and help you.

You say you have a ghost in your house so i assume you have fairly credible (at least to you) evidence of that. If, in fact, that is the case, what you in actuality have in your home is not the spirit of a deceased person, but rather a demon.
As i stated in another answer, the Bible tells us that the dead do not return, but that the spirits of demons or fallen angels do seek to inhabit human habitation if a suitable human body cannot be possessed.
This would explain why blessings, crosses, and exorcisms have an affect on the manifestations of haunting. Only demons would react so negatively to such religious intervention.
So, to answer your question, if you genuinely are being haunted, a demon is the perpretator, and only the rite of exorcism wil remove it permanently. There is a caveat, though; the exorcism must be performed by a true, born-again believer as all demons will only recognize the authority of those covered by the blood of Christ who defeated them on the cross 2000 years ago.
Best of luck, my friend

First try to see if the ghost mainly stays in one room. If you only see the ghost in the kitchen you can slowly try to get it acustomed to you living in the house. Only go in to the kitchen when you need to and try to explain to it that you are here to stay. BE FIRM! Also try to notice your feeling in the room, dose your mood change to being depressed or angry when you enter? This will let you know how the ghost is feeling. If it is sad or angry only enter with a positive attatude and I would recomend getting a few Hematite stones, leave one in the kitchen and carry one on you. These stones are belived to turn negative energy into positive energy. Stand your ground to the ghost if it charges you. Chances are the most it will do to you is make you a little cold. If the ghost pushes you (takes a hell of a lot of energy) leave! if you have a friend bring them with you, that way you don't get spooked out as easliy!

What I do is sit back and watch it, I have 2 ghost at present, I think they are still here. Haven't seen them for awhile. What do you mean "chased you out of the kitchen"? Like with a weapon or something?

First, try not to panic, really, it can't hurt you.
Try talking to it, explain that this is your home. You can ask the spirit to go to the light, that it's passed on and it's time to go. You can also light a white candle and walk around the house and say the Lord's Prayer. Once you're finished (each room) ask that the spirit be guided out of your house and towards the light.
Good luck!

Are you sure it was a ghost? Could it have been a spirit? I am sure that you were scared but I need more info in order to tell you what to do. What were you doing and what did it do in order to scare you out of the kitchen? Please do not take this as sarcastic behavior on my part...but as an investigator I need more answers in order to tell you what you have and in turn what to do.

If it's a ghost with that much negativity, I'd see if I could get a local priest (or clergy of your religion) to bless your house and ask the spirit to leave.

I normally just introduce myself and tell it that although my name is on the deed, it's welcome to stay, as long as it doesn't throw anything heavier than pillows, doesn't slime the library books, doesn't make funny noises in the refrigerator and only scares guests when the party has gone on way too long.
Are you serious? There are at least four cable channels that have "ghost" hunter shows on regularly. I'm sure they'd love to stake out your house for a month to find out all about your ghost.

You can speak to the ghost...just say, "I realize that you are confused as to why I am here, but you are dead. You need to move on and travel towards the light...because you are stuck and I am not. Please go, now, and I will take care of this house. Good-bye."
THEN run out of the house! :)
If that doesn't work, try again a few times, and if not, and you dislike the ghost, then I would move.

Are you a new "John S""? I'm so confused now!! People change their avatars and I can't find them. You didn't come on till Nov.23..so I don't see how you can be the same one. If there's two of you "John S."s ...I hope ya'll find a way to identify which one you are. I know this question doesn't sound like the "old" John S. I went to your profile..but your Q&As are closed..so I couldn't tell if you are the same one..As for your question...please tell us what happened and why you think it was a ghost.
EDIT...OK..you're not him. He has on a Santa Claus hat. Hope we don't get ya'll mixed up.
