To everybody who wrote back sooo mad about what I asked about NASA...you people need to get a life, instead of YOU sitting there on the computers writing back answers to a question that wasnot asked.
MY QUESTION WAS ABOUT THE BAD THINGS GOING ON AT NASA NOT THE GOOD. I was not saying there should be no NASA...they should just smarten up. Anybody who writes back to me only to say mean things, then your pathetic.

So. I guess the mayans were right about the world ending in 2012. With Nibiru coming, 5/6th of the population is gonna die. Nibiru is planet X the planet past pluto. It rotates around a dead star, but cuts through our solar system. WHen it will come it will pass near the earth between 2009 and 2012. you will be able to see it with ur naked eye by then and it will cause super storms along with major earthquakes. THis has happened before. The Mespatamians, also called Sumarians and Babalonians, knew about this. They have it inscribed that everything rotated around the sun before galileo came along. Many people also think that we may be REDISCOVERING planets and facts. There may have been technology as good as ours before our time, but it was crippled. Probably is true.
Back to Nibiru. So after that in 2013 the poles will shift and there will be waves 1-2 miles high. THere is another twist. Is the aliens helping us or starting a war with us?

Does a rechargeable battery weigh more when it charged than when it's not? When charged, it's full of electrons, which are energy, but energy =mass (*c^2, of course). So the difference might be tiny but IS there a difference?

p.s. or is there some kind of weird electro-gravity thing going and it actually weighs less!?

I've just read 'In Search of Schrodinger's Cat' by John Gribbin. In it, he talks of Bell's Inequality and why it solved the final thought experiment posited by Einstein.

He didn't go into it in too much detail and I would be very interested to examine the structure and results of the experiment in order to satisfy my curiosity.

Can anyone explain it to me or any of the other analogous experiments or give me a link that I can use?

TY

This may be a stupid question, but what is the Internet for then?

It is both to pose inteligent questions, and questions which you would risk losing your face if you posed them in real life.

This was inspired by a question that someone else asked.

In our societies, and specially nowadays, it is indispensable to take a bath everyday. (And let me say I do observe this, and also that there have been times on which I even had 3 showers on the same day...)

But just out of curiosity, I've always had dogs, and we never wash them more than once a month (as a matter of fact, in Winter I wouldn't say we wash them that often).
My mother used to say that washing a dog too often damages their hair, and whether this is true or false, they don't seem to smell. (At least, I rarely realize that... and when they do, it's because of tartar in their mouths...)

So, does this mean that humans are more prone to develop bad odours if they don't take showers often, than other living things?

I need to simplify:
[ ( a / ( 2x + h ) ) - ( a / 2x ) ] / h
so that it equals:
-a / [ 2x ( 2x + h ) ]
Please help, and show working with explanation if necessary.
