Plaskett's binary system consists of two stars that revolve in a circular orbit about a cnenter of mass midway between them. This means that the masses of the two stars are equal. If the orbital velocity is 220000 m/s and the orbital period of each is 1546560 sec, find teh mass M of each star. please include details!!!

The idea is that if you're moving faster than light you are able to be at a location before light has reached it and therefore before the event occurred.

I'm looking for pictures of a planet (OTHER than Earth). I assumed the two easiest to find would be Mars or the Moon. The biggest hurdle I have in finding the pictures is that I also need the longitude and latitude listed with them.

Any ideas?

I don't quite understand why it's unsafe to use cell phones in medical facilities. They say it can affect some equipment, but how exactly? Even if we don't use the phones and have them off, aren't the frequencies still transmitting through the air? Please help me understand. Thank you!

in the UK it seems to flow anti clockwise... . I`ve just read on Wikipedia that "The supposed scientific knowledge that drains flow differently in the Southern Hemisphere because of the Coriolis effect is actually a myth - the coriolis effect does influence the direction of the flow, but other factors (such as how the water is injected into the bowl) have a much greater impact, making the coriolis effect negligible."

so here`s the question, which way does water flow on the Equatorial line, or nearest to the centre point that will cause a difference if any?
