I have always thought that metal (like gold rims on saucers and cups) caused sparking and caused the microwaves to arc back and damage the cyclotron(is that the right word?) but a recent recipe I saw suggested wrapping the thin end of a chicken leg with aluminium foil before cooking in a microwave. I am confused.

I have some questions about the information i need.
1.) Why does the Golden Ratio represent a mathematically "ideal" ratio?
2.) How do you construct a golden ratio?
3.) What is the basic history of the Golden Ratio?
4.) What are a couple of examples of the where the Golden Ratio is found?
5.) What are some cool funfacts about the Golden Ratio?

Please answer any questions that you can! Website links are welcome! Thanks for all your help! I kinda don't really understand the Golden Ratio but that won't be a big problem as long as your answers arent' too hard to comprehend, but whatever you can give me i WILL be thankful! THANKS SO MUCH! ~ Lucy

A fire station in Livermore contends that a bulb, granted it's only 4 watts, has been burning for way over a century. Even in a vacuum stuff gets hot, and should disintegrate over time. Besides, what if it's only painted so it appears to be on, with some type of reflecting paint. So, where are all the other bulbs? What, only ONE was made? Follow the bouncing ball here folks, why on earth, 3rd planet from the sun, wouldn't someone start making century bulbs again, I'll take a dozen.
