On my last pregnancy I was very anemic and when they did the first blood test they do, they call me a few days later to let me know about my anemia and prescribed me something!! I am also worry about the pap smear (my mom's and my aunt last ones have been abnormal)and the rest of the blood test they do, I call my doctor's office to ask how long will it take for them to call me back with the results and she says that it takes between 24 and 48 hrs but that they only call if something is abnormal, so... it has been almost 8 days (tomorrow will be 8 days) so if they have not call me should I assume everything is normal, I am not anemic, or anything and my pap smear was normal then ?? I just need I little input, I have not been able to relax the way I should! I jus want this baby so much and wish everything is good for him or her!! Thanks for your answers!!

I am 7 months pregnant and my boyfriends' mom is all of a sudden saying that she doesn't think the baby is my boyfriend's. She said that the dates do not match up, but I have never slept with anyone but him and the dates DO match up, lol. What should I do? Why do you think she is saying this all of a sudden?

I think that i might be pregnant...i wont find out though if i am or not until next week when my period is due. Im currently taking contraceptive pills. if i am pregnant right now...will taking contraceptive pills harm the baby?? (i know that its highly unlikely to be pregnant if on the pill but i missed a couple!)

hi! First off, im 29 and I have 2 children 9 and 11. I am 5 weeks pregnant and its been so long that I forgot almost everything and this is all new again, things are so different now it seems. I just have some questions and I do have a Dr. appt on 2/5. Will they hear a heartbeat at my first visit? will I? will they do an ultrasound to make sure everything is ok? Is it ok that my breasts arent sore/swollen at all? (I DO remember that was one of my first signs yrs ago). Is it normal that im having cramps (menstrual like)..and they are also in my back and horrible leg cramps (feels like chin splints almost) at night that keep me up? Also, anyone else feel this exhausted at 5 weeks? I can barely keep moving at work and I nearly fall asleep at my desk. Im going to ask my Dr all these questions, I was just wondering if anyone else was like this or if its just maybe because Im older now than last pregnancies. Thanks :)

I don't have any friends and I don't know if I will get a baby shower. Should I do it myself or what? Who should come since I have no friends? I feel so alone with no friends, but I do have co-workers, but not close enough for a baby shower.

I drank brandy shots alot of them and took vicodin for pain that i had in my ear . This was about two weeks ago and i just found out i was pregnant 5 weeks to be exact .I just really wanna no if anyone also did these or one of them and had a healthy baby still . Also i have stopped drinking and taking the medicine i wont also till after the baby is here .

Im not sure if im expereincing implantation bleeding or menstruel bleeding, im pretty sure i concieved on Jan 9, and ive had alot of pregnancy symptoms(fatigue,food cravings.hunger,bloated,VERY slight naseua with no vommiting, and just feeling pregnant) i was expecting my period to come anywhere from jan 20th-jan 29th.on Jan 22 i had a TINY spot of brown blood and then on Jan 24 i had light bleeding that was red-ish pink-ish and it was accompanied by very slight cramps, this does not feel like my normal period at all, the cramps are much lighter and the flow is lighter also. Im really confused and wondering if this is implantation bleeding or just my period?

Okay, I hear about people being on full bedrest. As odd or stupid as this question seems, does bedrest mean not being able to go to the store or do daily tasks at all? Could it cause other problems in pregnancy? What does bedrest intail exactly? I am 12 weeks and 3 days and so far a normal and healthy pregnancy, but I was wondering if that meant you couldn't get any form of exercise at all. As I said this is a farily odd question but since I have never had to have bedrest of any form I was just curious.

I visited Mr. Lee Mingwei's page and it seemed so real, expecially with the doctors and all helping him out showing the ultra sounds etc. there's even a video; on google video

I found out that I am 14 weeks pregnant but having a hard time finding a doctor to take my insurance or to take me because most doctors around here have a policy about not taking people who are over 10 weeks. I dont know what to do. Has anyone found themselves in this situation and what do you think I should do

My blood pressure is high. Doc says if I don't get it down I'll be put on bedrest at 20 weeks. I'm 17 weeks today. She put me on a blood pressure med last week....and increased the dosage today...hopefully this will help, but I'm really scared. I don't know if I can handle the remainder of my pregnancy on bedrest. That's 20 weeks! Has anyone else delt with this?

I had my doctors appointment this morning, and he said I'm 3 cm dilated and 90 % effaced. He broke the membrane and my bloody show started gushing out. I haven't noticed any contractions yet, but how soon could I go into labor? I'm hoping the baby stays in atleast until 37 weeks but I'm afraid she won't.

I had to move recently and switch doctors. With my first dr., they did a pee test every visit and were very thorough in the check ups. When I moved, everyone recommended the same dr. for me to go to. He doesn't seem as thorough and all he does at the appointments is ask how I've been feeling and check on ultrasound. I have gone twice and both times he did the same exact thing...tell me my due date and that I'm having a girl...Is this normal? I'm nearly 32 weeks and my next appt. is coming up.
