So, we first decided are sons name would be Dylan, but now I feel it is so trendy. Then I liked Caleb and that seems trendy too! Do you like the name Vincent?? You don't hear that much these days. I just want my son to have a unique name...not trendy!

How can I use the name Amy in a unique way? What kind of first or middle name goes really good with a name like Amy?
Most Amy's I have known were nice and down to earth...what do you think of Amy's you have known? What does the name Amy bring to your mind?

Btw, I really like the spelling of Amy like that. If you do know of a way maybe that is uncommon and really cool show me ok. THanks.

Thanks for answering any of these questions.

My aunt to which I am very close to is pregnant again, except this time with twins! She and my uncle already have three girls, Lily, age 5, Annabelle (Annie), age 3, and Shiloh, who turned one in May! This time, it's a girl and a boy! They are thrilled! So far, they really like the name Zoë for a girl and James for a boy. James is after her grandfather who just recently passed away. He would go by Jack, though. So what do you think of Zoë and Jack? She likes Zoë Trinity so far. What do you think of them and what middle names do you like to go with them? Thanks!

I'm pregnant again with my 3rd child. My first two are twins, Jack and Lily, but they are really popular names and i want to go with something that has more classic beauty. I don't like names like destiny, angel, faith or hope. I also don't like names like Candi or Jenna or Shanae. I just want some classic, sophisticated names. So far i like ones like Isabelle Eve and Allie Rose for girls. For boys i like Theodore Jude and William Rhys. Does anyone know some REALLY GREAT NAMES? thank you so much

Okay, I'm aware its my baby and I get to name it, I want to get an idea of how the public would view the names. I was raised with a unusual name, Kirstin Kay, and I loved it, no one had my name, I felt special. I would want my child to feel the same. So, I don't want anything popular, I want a nice old-fashioned name. What do you people think of these?
Boy- James Beauregard
Girl- Magnolia Anne (would be called Maggie Anne)

Everybody in my family right down to the dog... names begin with the letter "A".. My husband's name is Adam, Im Amanda and my kids are Aubree and Aidan. We are planning our 3rd child and have to stay with the whole "A" thing (c'mon, we've gone this far) Anyway, we are looking for both boy and girl names and sound good for a little chold but also for a grown up. My kids names are unique and I would like something that flows with their names. We kinda like "Ava" for a girl but are not sure and definetly have no idea for a boy. Oh and no crazy mumbo jumbo names. Let see what you guys can come up with!

And what is the origin of the name Lyndall?

2007-09-08 21:04:41 · 12 answers · asked by Anonymous

Im making a charcater for a story, and she is independent, a main character, a friend, a leader, bossy, nice, tree-hugging, fashionable. Imagine her as Cornelia from WITCH. I just need a new name. And please DONT say:
Samantha
Melissa (thats ACTUALLY gonna be the name of her little sis)
Stacy
Stephanie
Miranda (i luv that name though)
Bianca

JUST imagine her LOOKING like Cornelia, and acting like her. Because that is basically who the character is.

This is for a fanfiction I'm writing. If I write a sequel the girl might have powers over the dead. Hope that helped some, if any. Would like a name out of the ordinary.

Help! I'm not due for a few more months, but I'm having trouble finding a first name for the middle name Clayton (my father's name). Any suggestions would be helpful and GREATLY appreciated. I'm not completely committed on that middle name, but really want to use it if I can find the right first name! Thanks so much!

My cousin just had a baby and she named him Gaylan. I think it's awful, but apparently it's a family name in her husbands side or something, so they went with it.

So if you just had a baby boy, and it was tradition to pass on some horrible name, would you do it, or go with something you like?

If it were me, I would maybe keep the initial, and pick a different name, like Greyson or something, or use the bad name as a middle name.
