Everybody in my family right down to the dog... names begin with the letter "A".. My husband's name is Adam, Im Amanda and my kids are Aubree and Aidan. We are planning our 3rd child and have to stay with the whole "A" thing (c'mon, we've gone this far) Anyway, we are looking for both boy and girl names and sound good for a little chold but also for a grown up. My kids names are unique and I would like something that flows with their names. We kinda like "Ava" for a girl but are not sure and definetly have no idea for a boy. Oh and no crazy mumbo jumbo names. Let see what you guys can come up with!

My favourite name just happens to begin with an 'a'......
Amara (meaning unfading and eternal!) and its so pretty for a little girl!
I also like Alisha and Ava is still a pretty name! Addison is a unisex name too.

For a boy I love Austin, Alexander - Alex, Andrew, Andre, Ashleigh, Anton and Aaron

Good luck and best wishes!
P.S. I love the 'a' name thing. We all have 5 letter names so hopefully when my number 3 pops around I can find another nice 5 letter name!

I LOVE AVA for the girl! And you are right, once you start naming everyone with an A it would be unfair to leave a child out of the mix.

for a boy, consider:
Alistair
Alexander
Aric ( i love this!)
Aaron
Asher
Austin
Andrew

for the girl, should you change your mind on Ava:
Addison (means child of Adam!)
Alannah
Aria
Avalon

Good like with your little band of As!

I have always liked Alea or Aleee Something different. I guess. I think Alleica Aleasha or Ashley is really cool/ common names Im sure are always but think 2020 when your little girl will be in a space age for sure . Aprila is different I was going to name my girl MYsina as in MY sin a which my family thought it would be a sin. to have one hahha oh well good luck. you could look at maps of the world and see if you can find things with A for the names, of rivers or lakes or places.

I really suggest you go on a search engine and type in your question. There are alot out there with hundreds of names for both girls and boys starting with A. I done a quick search for you and came up with the following 2 sites, but there were lots more. Some even give you the meaning of the name and where it came from.

Good luck with your search.
