First thanks to "philip y" for the germ of the idea for this question.
Stay tuned. I've got another one for tomorrow with a wild life preservation theme.

Rules for answering.

1. Keep it clean, no obscenities.

2. Make a statement about one then about the other. E.g., “Peace Keepers wear blue helmets. Ref wears striped shirt.” If the statement applies to both then it’s OK to say “Both have selective blindness”. Setting up columns is OK if you can figure it out.

3. Back your answers up with reliable sources. Your cousin isn’t a reliable source unless she has special KNOWLEDGE of the subject (e.g., The ROCK or UN Peace keepers). Obvious bias (overlooking or exaggerating pluses and faults) may get you disqualified.

4. Spelling and grammar count.

Don't people realize that Israel is defending itself against Hezbollah terroist (who basically control Lebanese government) have been terrorizing the israelis by sending rockets in and now kidnapping soldiers? Why can't people realize that Israelis offered palestinians land in the past? Only they didn't want it since their real mission was to kill jews. And despite anti-semetic conspiracy theorist, the checkpoints and natural resources WOULD belong to palestinians and israelis wouldn't take it.

And please don't post anymore answers of a jewish person saying "we need to take over the world". I am sure I can find a quote of africans, europeans, or hispanics saying the same thing, its not too good to judge.

So why does everyone hate Israel? Why can't americans stand up for what is right in the world? This isn't good vs. good, this is good vs. evil. Israel represents freedom, they share the same values that we do such as freedom of speech. They are the america of the Middle east.

Why is OK for Israel to bomb innocent Lebenese women and children and all America does it give it more bombs?
There's a lot to this issue but 1 thing is the kidnapping of the Israeli soldiers was just a pretext for Israel's war against Lebanon. This isn't the 1st time.

We know (just from the biased MSM news) about the Israeli Govt's target assassinations, bulldozing of Palestinian Houses, and general Oppression of Arabs. While it enjoys a per capita GDP comparable to Norway it gets over $25 Billion in US taxpayers money in 5 years!!

WE WILL NEVER HAVE PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST UNTIL THE HYPOCRITE POLITICIANS FEAR AMERICANS DESIRE FOR A JUST AND PEACEFUL REGION More THAN THEY FEAR POWERFUL (AND CORRUPT) AIPAC AND THE ISRAELI LOBBY!!

Tell those politics no more lies and that there jobs are on the line! History is judging us and WE must do better than we did to the American Nego before the Civil Rights Era or the Native Americans b/f Casinos

(as long as it is not a whole in a roof), Hizballah are terrorits because the 23 tons of bombs used in one attack in lebanon was equivalent to the counterattack by hizballlah which killed 2 kids and the leader apologized. I can get hundreds of pics on civilian targets (milk factorys which give hizballah calcium and strong bones were bombed) and hospitals because injured are fully capable of destroying israel ansd a school were people seeked refugee in.

The UN is a powerless organisation, without any powers to enforce any resolutions they might have come up with, or enforce a peace truce between waring factions. Bush can just walk in there and denounce whatever matter or issue not in the interest of the American people. I beleive the UN sholud be based somewhere that is politically NEUTRAL, say in Zurich, Switzerland. Instead of having the almighty US admin. breathing down their shoulders. I know the US does most of the funding, but does that warrant its current behaviour with UN chief? Remember what Bush said candidly to Blair about Kofi's suggestions as to how to help stop the conflict in Lebanon? To me, Kofi's proposals and approach to the problem were more humane, than Bush's. Kofi wanted an immediate ceasefire on both sides and the sending of UN forces in southern Lebanon, while Bush would prefer the Israelis finish the job of eliminating Hezbollas out of there. Well, they are doing the job, with Bush's blessings.
