Im a lebanese christian and i want to even prove to you isreael's "right to defend itself". They bombed hospitals, schools airports bridges ports petrol stations... I forgy they r killing them.,ot they bombed the very

I am aware of the horror that means a war against civilians in a territory with less economical and political backup as Lebanon.

Dear Backups, do not waist your time expecting many people changing their minds because it will not happen. Whoever wants to understand and see, will do it by him/herself.

But on the other hand, if you can convince just a simple person to start thinking as an individual and see for himself,then you've earned already more that you think.

How can you convince people that life is not a western, where good people were almost Saints and bad people Satan disciples. We are living in a colorful world, where nothing is what looks like, for sure not when politics, economical interest, power and religion are all mixed up together in an impossible to understand ball that existed for more than two millennium and will keep on going till the end of humanity.

Violence can never be justified, but is still used to achieve political goals and even personal megalomaniac goals.

Just because Hezbolah are bad doesn't make it right, gentlemen.

And neither does that the USA would have done much worse in Israel's place.

It is still horrific; it is still an over reaction and it still contravenes international law. This isn't just defence, defence would mean only attacking the terrorists, not innocent civilians.

What about when Britain had the IRA, or when Spain had the Basque terrorists, did they go and blow up innocent civilians? No, they would never have considered bombing somewhere when innocent men, women and children would have been hurt. It's called being civilised.

Innocent civilians? The Palestinians elect HAMAS. Lebanon includes Hezbollah in their parliament -- again, the Lebanese have elected terrorists. These groups live, indeed thrive, among the population of 'innocent civilians' – launching rockets, and probably soon missiles.

The Israelis are, unfortunately, grossly under reacting, which will bring many more decades of pain, suffering and death. That assumes that Israel (and the USA) survives this world war.

Gee you forgot some stuff. What of all the Terriost attacks committed against Isreal hmmmmm. It appears you wanna sympathize with the terriost and Ignore what has been happening to Isreal. I guess its OK for Terriost Like Hezbollah to Blow up buses, malls restaurants ect BUT its not ok for Isreal to defend itself against such attacks. You shouldn't be upset that Hezbollah started a war with a nation that has a military capable of wiping them off the face of the earth.

Could you provide similar links that show pictures of the civilians killed by the hezbollah rockets fired into Israel? Also, please provide a link that shows the inside of an Israeli bus moments after a suicide bomber has exploded himself inside, covering the inside of the bus and the street with bits of glass, seat cushions, flesh, blood, bits of brain, pieces of skull, bone, limbs, hair and miscellaneous other unidentifiable bits of human.

Provide links showing pictures of all three situations and then we will all be better able to judge the situation and provide an unbiased opinion.

No, it's pretty much just what I expected. No one cares about killing children and innocent civilians it seems. It's a real shame, but what can we do? The world doesn't change. What the hell did the Lebanese do again?

sadly enough i think those picture are collateral damages, the hezbolla is worse than the israelis, if they had the weapons and army israel had at their disposal then israel would have been history by now, that is y they have to be stopped now to ensure a safer middle east in future

Great pictures if the dead pictured are Hezbolla I say good shooting, If Sunni, Druze , or Maronite it is a shame. General Sherman said war is hell and Hezbolla has to be exterminated with prejudice.

If Israel weren't "measuring" its reaction it would be far worse. Not to say these pictures aren't horrible but holding up children's bodies upside own to be photographed like trophy fish is also terrible.
