The old priest lay dying in the hospital. For years he had faithfully served the people of the nation's capital. He motioned for one of his aides to come near.

"Yes father" said the aide.

"I would really like to see Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton before I die",
whispered the priest.

"I'll see what I can do, father" replied the aide.

The aide sent the request to the Senate and waited for a response. Soon the
word arrived. Kennedy and Clinton would be delighted to visit the priest.
As they went to the hospital, Clinton commented to Kennedy "I don't know why the old priest wants to see us, but it will certainly help our images after the number the Republicans have done on us." Kennedy couldn't help but agree.

When they arrived at the priest's room, the priest took Kennedy's hand in his right hand and Clinton's hand in his left. There was silence and a look of serenity on the old priest's face.

Finally Senator Kennedy spoke "Father, of all the people you could have chosen, why did you choose us to be with you as you near the end?"

The old priest slowly replied "I have always tried to pattern my life after our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."

"Amen" said Kennedy. "Amen" said Clinton.

The old priest continued..."He died between two lying thieves. I would like to do the same."

this question is for the future candidates when will you wake up and realize that the people want it and in a controlled way it can be a revenue boon if done properly, like alcohol or cigarettes. with this revenue stream it would wipe out the deficit in very little time and effort!

Why are they building concentration camps in the USA? Who is going to be put in these countless concentration camps across America that the Federal Government is using our tax dollars to build?

Does anyone know? And it is a verifiable FACT that they are being built. So instead of deny, please just try to explain WHY OUR PUBLIC SERVANTS are building CONCENTRATION CAMPS?

What the HELL is wrong with the generals that are sending a couple of Hummers with no air cover into a WAR?!

In Los Angeles, they send out 10 squad cars and a helicopter or TWO just to catch a car-thief, should he decide to "terrorize" the freeway by driving the same speed as everyone else!!

Why can't we put SNIPERS on every tall building in Baghdad?
Why can't we send out a decent size convoy, when something needs to be checked out?
Why can't we drive Humvees on the streets that run parallel to the one the main contingent is driving down? (So as to make sure it is more difficult to approach it.)
Why can't we drive a remote controlled car infront of the Humvees?
Why can't we analyze where the bombs came from?
Why can't we arrest A SINGLE person when attacks happen?--I am not talking about dragging people out of homes; I am talking about CHASING and CATCHING terrorists like the police do in L.A.
Do any of you West Point (or other MILITARY school) grads think this is FUBAR?!

She voted for it, then decried it, then apologizes, then uses the excuse that the information she had (and President Bush) was faulty. What will she do if the new strategy of troop surge works in Iraq.....bet she changes her mind again, again, and again...

The governor is a Democrat, the Senators are Democrats and all except one member of the House are Democrats. (BTW, the State is Arkansas, a.k.a., Clinton-ville.)

A state’s constitution tends to reflect the political culture of the state. How does a particular state’s constitution reflect the values and beliefs of its citizens?

I've never thought of this, but it's a question we have to think about over the weekend for my poli sci class.

I mean, assuming that the mother's health isn't in danger (in which case, you must abort), shouldn't the only point to be considered is whether or not the fetus is considered alive? If it's alive, then you can't kill it, but if it's not alive, then maybe you could. And if you aren't sure if the fetus should be considered alive then it would be morally irresponsible to take the chance that u may be merdering a person.

I just don't understand how birth and pregnancy pains (as bad as they are) override the consideration of someones life. To all of u women out there, I sympathize with the pain u have to go through, but in no way can u condone someone to just not have to go through with the whole pregnancy/birthing process (unless your health or even emotional health is at risk).

Okay, I went to college for a year and a half. Had mostly financial aid for financing. I had to leave in the middle of my 4th semester for personal reasons, with plans to return shortly. Then the school returned my full years worth of financial aid for the 2nd year to the lending institution & the school charged me for it. Then the lending institution denies ever getting it back & they charged me for it. I can't even go back to school until I get it all paid off, which will be in my 40's or 50's. So anyways, I got a call the other day that says if I can't pay them 3000 dollars now and so much every month for 9 months to get my account in good standing. I just had a baby two months ago & am not currently working or able to go back to work, cause I'd just have to pay for childcare. They are threatening to garnish my wages when I go back, can they do that in Pennsylvania? I'd heard they can take your income tax(they did) but not garnish your wages. What other states have no garnish laws?

As much as I want a democrat in the oval office, I hate to admit that either Obama or Hillary will fail because mainstream America is not ready for a black man or a woman. It seems there are no formidable opponents to heavyweights like Giuliani or McCain... What are your thoughts?!?!
