this question is for the future candidates when will you wake up and realize that the people want it and in a controlled way it can be a revenue boon if done properly, like alcohol or cigarettes. with this revenue stream it would wipe out the deficit in very little time and effort!

I agree with the legalization of weed. With all the new tax revenues and freeing of monies from useless pot law enforcement programs, we could get much done in this country. Pot users could be subject to the same penalties as drunk drivers (DUI's) and if caught would have to go to rehab or pay hefty fines. I don't see the next pres being so bold.

There is a legal drug now in this country that kills more people every year than all of the other drugs COMBINED!! It's called alcohol , & the folks who make & distribute it are VERY wealthy & will lobby hard to prevent pot being legalized anytime soon.......

No, it should not be legalised, there are those
for an against but there is a problem in that
it always leads to greater and bigger dependencies
on other substances...................................................
