The Republicans will retain the house and senate, of that there is absolutely no doubt. The dems will suffer yet another loss. Oh how I am gloating!!!

Senate bill S.1878, which failed in 1994, attempted to require a $300 federal "arsenal license" and allow federal home inspections of private collections of 20 guns, or one carton (standard retail package) of reloading primers. It would also ban small handguns, magazines holding over 6 rounds, "non-sporting" amunition, and require a state license to buy a handgun, ammo, or parts.

During the past 6 years, we have not been able to accomplish anything important and beneficial. This country has experienced one debacle after another: a failed Iraq policy, runaway debt, stagnant wages, the list goes on. The only way to hold this unaccountable president accountable is to take back control of the House or Senate or both. In less than 30 days if the people of this country vote and put Democrats back in control of Congress, we would have committee chairman that could launch investigations and examine policies with the full authority of Congress. Minority members do not have this power now. They can not control what bills are considered, how long committees debate them, whether bills get reported out onto the floor, or whether a vote gets scheduled. All these decisions are made by the Republican leadership of both the House and the Senate.

My parents never got involved in anything. When I became aware how important voting is, I began voting. I have never been able to vote for a party. How can you vote one party when some are dishonest and are not able to tell what they will do to sovle issues? Instead, these politicians just bash his openant and cuts down the openants positions and acts in office. How can you vote for one party?

Do Republicans understand that the President they support without question has instituted a new Amendment that abolishes Habeas Corpus and has propelled the US back to the Dark Ages? When the President today eliminated the right to Terrorists to be charged with a crime, the law included every one of you-- Americans. Obviously, big plans are afoot and if his Republican supporters haven't read a newspaper yet, what can others do to educate the ignorant as quickly as possible?

She claims to be PRO-gun when she speaks in rural areas (typically conservative, low crime areas with lots of sportsmen), but she's ANTI-gun when she speaks in Kansas City and St. Louis (both liberal areas, with high crime rates). She sounds just like John Kerry and Jean Carnahan, who tried the same stunt.

We have a man running for prosecuting attorney in our town and everyone I talk to says they are voting for him because they like his wife, went to school with his wife, goes to church with his wife, etc.... Is this reason enough to vote someone into a position of power in your community? What do you think?

Anybody notice how useless Barrack Obama is? He never answers a question, he just answer the question by saying how important the subject is. What a politician, when will he go away or when will his balls drop?
