I was in Italy the other week and a news item said about two woman who went missing on a ferry travelling from Southampton. Heard nothing about this in the UK, does anyone know what happened to them, have they been found? Just curious as odd it wasnt mentioned here.

Why do the press take such an avid interest in Katie Couric's role in the media? All the trade newspapers and websites (like imdb.com) constantly scrutinise and analyse her viewing statistics, debate her presentation style and discuss her role in the media.

In the UK, being a newsreader is nothing special - you're not a 'celebrity' as such. So, why is the role of newsanchor in the USA such a big deal? Why are so many press columns devoted to her - it's just reading the news, surely?

I had a few friends that I've been looking for. I've tried people searches, military records on line and even reverse e-mails. I was just wandering if one of them might read this and write back. There names are Michelle Edmonds, Tamara Sluka, Ryan Parsons, Gemaline Biano and Robert South. We were at A Btry 1st Sup Bn or 176th PSC or 261st PSC and I am Jeff McGlone.

What would possess anyone from selling O.J.'s book - about how he could have murdered his wife. Is there a right wing luniatic fringe inside of FOX news. Is this lust for money at the expense of his wife's family. Tell me why would someone do such a thing. It just makes no sense to me or am I missing something here?
