I was in Italy the other week and a news item said about two woman who went missing on a ferry travelling from Southampton. Heard nothing about this in the UK, does anyone know what happened to them, have they been found? Just curious as odd it wasnt mentioned here.

Apparently they failed to turn up on their coach because they accepted a lift from a car that got them to their destination faster, and they forgot to tell anyone.
And yes, there was a similar question asked here, probably whilst you were still in Italy.

They changed their mind and did not tell the coach driver, the stupid women should be made to pay for the enormous cost that the search incurred

they were found safe and well at home in Belgium, ignorant sods hadn't told anyone they would not be catching the coach, hope they had to foot the search bill, but i doubt it
