Before i start, I am against the hizbullah and their tactics of killing civilians, but they are terrorists, and so we can expect them to do their crimes.
But Israel, a "civilized" state, has killed hundreds of civilians. It looks good on the media since it "warns" civilians to run, but in the same time, it bombs any car that moves, how does that make sense?
Israel also threatened to attack UN peacekeepers if they attempted to repair bomb-damaged bridges in southern Lebanon to allow humanitarian supplies.

How can a civilized country act so cruel and be a civilized one? how can they break international law and the world be ok with it? they used phosphoric bombs, killed children and civilians. their tactics prove useless since hizbullah is still firing rockets. So really, Israel is killing civilians mostly in this war. but, one must remember, to kill someone a weak and defenseless human is cowardice and terorrism. right?

Last night Chicago Police shot a 14 year old boy who was accused of armed robbery. They shot him five times in the torso. Witnesses say he reached into his pants and pulled out the gun. Some witnesses say he aimed it others say he was putting it down. Did police have the right to shoot him?

I say yes. When you're being chased and you want to surrender the first thing you do is raise your hands in the air. If you reach for anything they will shoot. And i'm sick of all the protests. Don't put the blame on the police. They are not at fault. The problem with america these days is we don't take responsibility for our actions. There are consequences to our decisions. That kid decided to rob somebody and not surrender when asked to. Instead he ran. The public is speaking out. I say the boy did it to himself. He knew the consequences. It's tragic, but he made his choice.

Yes, the poor civilians and children but what about the animals who are being left behind when the civilians are told to evacuate.
Some animals sit on their porches waiting in vain for their owners to come home only to die of starvation or something else.
Breaks my heart.

Majority of Lebanese are non-Shiea and been enjoying peaceful and modern life and they always wanted to live peacefully with Israel.

Whereas Iran’s regime has been ignoring Lebanon’s sovereignty by creating and Arming hizballa in order to eliminate Israel from the region.
Isn’t it madness that Iran’s regime can easily announce that they want to eliminate the Israel from the region?

Yet if anyone dare draw a cartoon of Mohammad, these crazy fanatics are going to kill us all. Probably the same people who burn our flags.
To some people their Flag means just as much as Mohammad does to them.
Why do we constantly allow these people to change our way of life?

there's a new class of liberal born from the incompetency of the bush administration and the corruption of the republican controlled congress. the intelligent and adaptive 20-something who makes six figures, but doesn't mind giving up something if it means providing hope to others. meanwhile republicans can enjoy their pick of the high school dropouts, but if you think this country isn't facing a major shift towards the left you need to learn how to read, at least enough to pick up a newspaper for a change

I calculated at 42 gal barrel raw oil that historically we have paid about 40-50% of price of gas to raw oil. We pay about $1.80 for raw oil now with $3 gas. that's about right, but it is a huge increase from just a year ago. With record profits, It looks like oil companies are gouging us by riding the larger increase in raw oil. I don't buy the idea that the US is gaining by securing the oil in Iraq, unless it is to secure contracts for the oil industry to maximize profits..The president can't really be so much for big oil and in appearance so against the little guy in America (It seems too much to expect that from any politician, no matter how self serving he is). so what is really going on? Your opinion.

I've been hearing stories of how Iraqis are enjoying freedom and democracy these days. Did you hear about the shepherds who were killed for not putting diapers on their goats because the local imams decreed that the sight of goats' bottoms were too tempting the men? Did you hear about the grocer who was killed, along with his family, for displaying vegetables in a "suggestive" manner? Do you hear about the women who are arrested on trumped up charges including witchcraft and murder, are taken to the local jails, where they are gang raped and beaten until they confess to any crime, which is actually better than being released and murdered by their own families for having maybe been dishonored, whether or not it is true.

Do you believe US troops are really there to "defend our freedom?" Are their lives being lost so these atrocities can take place? These maniacs are allowed to run rampant thanks to the US liberation. I don't consider what WE'VE done to Iraq to be an improvement!
