why does everyone concentrate on those 2 soldiers? Its obvious that thats what Israel wants everyone to concentrate on. Its never about the 2 soldiers. They had soldiers kidnapped 2 years ago.. but then.. there were negotiation for prisoners swap between the Lebanese prisoners in Israel and the Israeli soldiers. There have always been prisoners swap. BUt Israel then wouldnt dare to come into Lebanon. Cos then.. Lebanon has the support of the Syrian army. This year, with the help of the UN, the Syrian were forced out of Lebanon leaving them helpless. Hence with this opportunity which they had already expect to come, an excused were used for this invasion. Capturing each other's militias were quite a common thing among Hezbollah and the Israeli soldiers. There were no involvement of civilians. Today, the Israeli have lost more than 50 soldiers.. and some civilians too. Does anyone still think that they care about the lives of the 2 soldiers? They'd never trade those many lives just cos of those 2. They did it to reoccupy the land they were forced to leave in 2000

If you captured two soldiers of the occupying army then you may be called a terrorist by them, but a resistance fighter by your own people. I think fighting the enemy would be patriotic. This is not what happened in Lebanon though. There, true terrorists crossed international borders and attacked unprovoked to kidnap the soldiers. That was an act of war and landed hezbollah right were it is now. Also much of the fighting in Iraq is now carried on by non-Iraqi fighters. They are terrorists because they are there to attack civilian targets and cause civil war.

So if we occupied our own country how many terrorists would we have left? That's three apples minus 1,000 casualties five fruit baskets and 13,000 rockets devided by one nuke? That's a no brainer. (K)

A stupid "if" question as Israel was not occupying Lebanon.
