A man left his two children on the train platform to save a young man who fell into a seizure, and dropped on the track, just as the train approached. He had to keep him still and calm while the train stopped, and then another twenty minutes for the power to be cut.

What do we call you? The UK/The United kingdom/Great Britain? I am confused?

I am very interested in news and perspective from other nations since our own Media almost always focus on the same stories. I like watching the BBC news because it covers stories I would not otherwise hear about. I would watch the italian news .. if I spoke Italian. I have always wondered about this. When natural disasters, like snow storms and thunder storms etc. what can you doto be prepared for it to occur

not so much what to wear.. but like anything you could do to help the enviornment with manmade disasters, like power outage, oil spills, etc. how could you help the enviornment decrease the amount of hazards.. or are there any ways?
