Its not the far fetched idea that some of these Yahoo Einsteins think......its been a week now, and yesterday (Friday) on National Pubic Radio they were STILL taking the cell phone tape as a serious news story. Just remember what the media did with an office break in in a hotel office in the 70s. Sometime if you milk a virgin cow long enough you actually get something.

Absolutely not. I think they should have allowed it, but in fact they did not.
I do not think ordinary deaths, even ordinary executions, should be shown publicy. But Saddam Hussein is a very special case: a head of state whose murders mount into the hundreds of thousands. It is necessary that his death be witnessed by those who are willing.
Many of his family members were complicit in his crimes, and should not profit in any way from his execution.
Those of his family who are innocent, have the misfortune of being related to a mass murderer. If they are honorable, they will want to compensate the families of his victims, not receive compensation themselves.

No. The familes of the victims of Saddam's violence didn't get anything. In fact, he died under better circumstances than any of the people he killed.

No, because Iraqi government doesn't believe in the justice and democracy known in the west. they have their own version called Islamic beheading and revenge democracy. otherwise, why they don't try Muqtada and sentence him to execution, he is responsible for killings of many innocent iraqis, but they are not only not trying him, but they put him and his political militia as part of their alliance in the parliament.

I think that's a slippery slope - if they do, eventually they'll be getting sued by people who spilled hot coffee on their laps...
