I would like to apply for a grant to benifit the community such as plumbing and heating services to customers who can not afford the rising rates of proffesionals in this industry(i.e. elderly and low income) will the govt. help in the form of grants in this area.

I've heard that some banks in the Dallas-Ft Worth area use a method of collecting as many overdraft and bounced check charges by posting outstanding checks before posting deposits even though they are all posted the same day. Does anyone know which banks in the area do NOT indulge in this practice?

She is in her early 20's,great on MS word,but is a little slow mentally .She gets also discriminated because she is 4'11''.She is a work aholic and is a very punctaul young lady,who takes responsibilty very serious.Where can I get help for her..She needs benefits,and is willing to work 40 hrs.She is employed right now with only 19 hrs. and they refuse to give her the 20 hrs. for insurance.I know I should let her handle it on her own.Elgin Public aid refused her help because she was not pregnant and because she had a coat on that was not ripped.A local hotel refused her because she was to short.The job she is at now cut her hours because an employee reported her because she was watching what they were doing because she wanted to learn what they were doing.Please someone out there hear us and help.She is a born and raised american citizen and she gets treated like this.Again please anyone help us in finding employment for her =(

I was at Walmart today and my boyfriend took a bike out to our car, we had already paid for it,and I was finishing up with the rest of the stuff we bought with the cashier. The cashier told him to go ahead and take it out to the car. As I was leaving with my two sons and a friend of my oldest we were stopped at the door because the helment we purchased was not in a bag. The lady asked to see my reciept and I showed it to her she studied it for about 2 min. because she could not find the ucp code on the reciept, she was looking at the wrong one,I tried to tell her it was the wrong one and she was rather short with me. As I was leaving a man came up to me, and stated he needed to see my reciept agian, this time for the bike. This man was about 10 feet away from my car and not in the store but in the parking lot,he was dressed in black and had no id on I asumed he was security I didn"t think store security could leave the store, I thought they had to call the police, should I persue this?

I'm getting married in December and will be looking for an apartment in september. I live in San Antonio, Texas. Can anyone tell me which apartment companies are horrible? I know the Lynd Companies has really crappy customer service. I also looked at apartmentreviews.com to see what current tenants and past tenants said about the apartment it self.
