I'm getting married in December and will be looking for an apartment in september. I live in San Antonio, Texas. Can anyone tell me which apartment companies are horrible? I know the Lynd Companies has really crappy customer service. I also looked at apartmentreviews.com to see what current tenants and past tenants said about the apartment it self. Any help will be greatly appreciated....Thanks!!!!

Park Green townhomes off of Thousand Oaks and International residence in the medical center. These are larger 2-3 bedroom sized. They have the same owners. I have no clue the name of the company who runs them, but I hear they often put people on credit problems after they live there. They took me to court because they didn't like my special needs son. After I left, they charged me for the 9 months I didn't live there after they tried evicting me. The judge fortunately was on my side and wrote them off and their lawyers. I live in a nice house now that I own. Oh, for a nice smaller place, my parents just sold a really nice apartment complex in Alamo Heights on Edgehill across from the barn door. It's privately owned by the same gentleman that has scuzzi's over on New Braunfels and Nacogdoches. Go ask him if he has anything available. My dad put tile in each apartment and there are 2 studios, several 1 bedrooms and a couple of 2 bedrooms. It's a small complex, so you may have to get on a list. Good luck. If I were getting a cute apartment near everything, I would definitely check them out. In fact, I did live there when I was in my 20's and rented from my folks. Like I said, before they sold the place, but it's cute and the pool is so nice!

Equity is pretty good.
We live in an equity apartment and it's pretty and maintenance is good.
