I've heard that some banks in the Dallas-Ft Worth area use a method of collecting as many overdraft and bounced check charges by posting outstanding checks before posting deposits even though they are all posted the same day. Does anyone know which banks in the area do NOT indulge in this practice?

I've been with Washington Mutual (WAMU) for as long as they've been in business, and I have never had any problems with them. They offer a variety of perks, as mentioned by someone else.
