It seems like my PS2 has problems reading "Star Wars Battlefront II". I bought a copy and when I try to play it, it just doesn't load at all (as in a black screen after I reset/manually choose the game from the browser). My friend also came over and tried to play HIS copy of Battlefront II, but it had the same problem. It would work on his PS2 though (which was a slim version). ALL of my other games work perfectly on mine. My PS2 is a 30001 R model...

Any ideas on why this is happening?

How come when I do a 500,000 point combo or get a 1,000,000 point high score I don't unlock those achievements (they are achievements to get gamerpoints)?

I remember as a kid I used to play this really cool game on Sega Genesis. I don't remember the name, but it went something like this:

It took place in space and the player has to build spaceships based on limited resources, and in any given turn he can move each ship a certain distance, and then if an enemy ship was at the same location the game would go to a tactical scene where you actually had to gun him down.

It was a pretty cool game. I know I wasn't too clear on the details, because that's all I remember, but if anyone knows the name I would be very grateful. Thanks!

I have Windows XP but I have been downloading tons of old DOS games. I can't get Battle Chess to work - I can get the game to open but it plays in the Computer versus Computer mode. I can watch but I can't play. I can't get the hidden dropdown menu to appear either. It also seems to run pretty slow. I have tried changing the settings to make it run as "Windows 95 Compatible" and changed the size to "Window" instead of fullscreen, and I have downloaded it from many different sites. I still can't get it to work. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

So I was playing the turney and I get to the finals. The guy at the finals with me was the owner of the league. He lost to me. He said he got yahooed but i didn't see any popup window teling me to wait or anything like it. So he banned me and didn't give me my prize.
