in my opinion i LOVE ps3
it has blue ray which makes everything look so real.
the only thing is that the games are kinda bloody
but they are coming out with more less bloody games!

Ps3 hands down. PS3's graphics are highlighted in Resistance: Fall of Man. And this isnt even close to what the Ps3 is capable of. It's based on a 7 cell processor... PC's today... the most that they come with (on a high end gaming machine) is 4 cells.... the 360... has 3. You ask.. what does it all mean?? It means that by processor speed, the Ps3 OWNS the 360 two fold...(or it will own 2 fold). Now 360 fans are going to say... Well how come the graphics look so poor on the games on the ps3 than they do on the 360? For one... the Ps3 JUST came out... meaning that all these games..??? they were ported, with 360 graphics. Had they been developed for the ps3 and the ps3 ALONE, there is a good chance that they would blow the 360 out of the water. Also.. The fact that you get a BluRay player in it is reason enough to buy it (BluRay players cost around a solid grand in stores nowdays)
it has capabilites to link up just about any piece of computer hardware with USB Support with its massive internal driver database. It has a web browser... though i'm sure that you wouldn't use it all that much anyway. Rumor has it even that it might be able to play AVI movies (Yes those pirated movies you downloaded off the net? Maybe) It can take music off of your IPod or whatever MP3 player you have, and put it on its hard drive and you can listen to it on your tv. There are a lot of features that i'm sure i'm totally forgetting...
The controller - Yes it's pretty much the same as the controller for the ps2. What happened to the rumble? Well... because of the sixaxis control scheme, they had to eliminate it. (Good reason in my opinion. example: playing MotorStorm in first person view with the motion steering on, is just like driving a truck)
Longevity - The ps3 with its 7 core processor (as mentioned above) Will be a LONG lasting system. The longevity of this system will be 10 years at least. It's well worth the investment in my humble opinion

the xbox 360, and to Drock: the 360 doesn't need a DVD player, it already has one, are you blind or somethin?? the PS3, SURE it can brows the web like a PC but one thing: u already have a PC. bluray, uh-huh yea good storage but u dont need that much storage for any game!, uhhuh, yea good controller but it has no vibration!! uhhuh they say better graphics but u cant tell better graphics because its so good already! bad selection of games(its just that it came out late, ill giva that one) the xbox360 can enable xbox live for online gaming but not browsing. DVD playback and xbox game compatable. better selection of games! unless u like RPG over shooters. wireless controller: confortable, vibration, saves power. the only stupid thing is that the Xbox 360 controller runs on normal AA batteries other than that its perfect!!!(well almost) but better than PS3!!!!

The ps3 is better because it has blu ray/dvd player, best graphix, and the six axis controller, also an HDMI output and is backwards compatible to all games. The xbox has good games but some games aren't backwards compatible, you have to buy the dvd player for it to watch movies.

xbox 360 is the bomb every one has one and if they dont they need to get one
