It seems the companies that run these can get away with anything. Bottom line is the Government collects huge revenue in taxes from these companies so they turn the proverbial blind eye. Yes, people have a responsibility for their own actions but they also deserve not to be defrauded and be misled or manipulated. Either way its the government that always wins

We are playing MJ with 14 tiles- discard then pick.
Player A discards tile, Player C calls tile, HOWEVER, next player, Player B calls Mah Jongg (not using discarded tile) at the exact time that Player C calls discarded tile. Does play resume with player C getting tile for exposure or does the Mah Jongg of Player B take precedence as win?

You need a fair bit of money to start with. You start by betting, say, $10 on black or red. If it doesn't come up, you bet $20 on the same colour. Since there is a 50/50 chance of either colour coming up, it shouldnt take too many goes to win. You keep doubling your bets until you win. You cant lose, but you only win the amount you bet the first time, in this case $10. Once you win, you start again. This way, you could make $10 every 3 or 4 games. And if 30 games were played an hour, thats $100 profit per hour. Not a bad wage if you ask me.

i recieved it in the mail yesterday.it looks real and even had a cashiers check from a national bank enclosed.in the letter it stated that i had won the lottory in a international drawing in sydny australia.there are no "IF`s" includet anywhere in the letter.i just think it is funny, that the postmark on the envelop was from canada, the lottery in canada and the check is from a bank in north carolina. do you think this could be for real.people tell me i should go ahead and put the money into an account anyway.theres no way i am gonna put that into my checking account, becauce that might give them unautherized access to it then.i just don`t trust many people, especielly when it sound to good to be true. what do you all think?oh they say that my part of the winnings is $125.000,00 and the check is in the amount of $2.900,00 wich is supposed to be to cover the taxes on the total payout of the winnings.

I always hear this banter in the office,
"I'm going to win the lottery"
"If you do, send some my way"
"Hey on prob, If I win, I'll buy you a new < >"

I'm just wondering if any of you big winners followed up on those type of promises.

And, they say that one thing common for *ALL* lottery winners is that they gain weight.

Did you gain weight?

Omaha:10 players,40 cards dealt out, leaving 12 in deck [which on average would be 3c,3d,3h,3s]...flop comes with 2c thereby leaving only one club in the nine remaining cards...so would the odds be 1.86:1 as the books say or would they be closer to 4:1 against ???
